Art plan

This is my blog post.
I chose to blog this because it was a really fun task and I wanted to share this with you for a heads up with what we are doing art wise this term.
We were learning to write instructions and explain how we would draw something of our choice

Art Plan
Later in the term, the whole school is taking part in a visual arts exhibition. You will have to make your own piece of visual art.


Success Criteria of the art
  • No larger than A3
  • Must be super high quality (your absolute personal best)
  • Must be a type of visual art
  • Must be aesthetically pleasing (it has to look good)
  • It must challenge you (aim high)

There is an example of how to do Task 2 on the wall.

Task 1
Discuss with your learning buddy about all of the different types of visual art (there are lots!).
Write 3 of them below.

Task 2- Your plan

Please insert a picture of what your completed art will look like. (It will be either: an image from the internet, a google drawing or a rough draft).

Write a list of materials you will need.
If a material is not in the classroom, include how you will get it.
A pencil.A black coloring pencil.An a4 white piece of paper. And a compass. A set of coloring pencils.

Write a list of steps to take.
1.First you will need to get an a4 piece of paper
2.then you will need to get a pencil.
3.Then you will need to draw a rough outline of the car on a piece of paper.  Make sure you don’t push too hard in case you need to rub it out.
4.After that draw the wheels With the compass In the wheel arches.
5.Then draw the mags.Make them what ever design you want
6.Then color in the wheels with the black coloring pencil
7.under the roof draw in the window and the last part of the roof it should be the same angle but
about 3 cm apart.
8.Then above the window in the gap color in with the black coloring pencil
9.Just behind the windscreen draw a line straight down from the point of the where the windscreen meets the roof.
10.At the back draw a stripe down the back
11.Then draw all the tiny details like door handles mirrors blinker etc whatever you want
12.then color in with any colors you want.

This is one of my favorite things to do in my own time. Can you guess what it is? Well if you didn't here it is bmxing. I love doing bmxing it is so much fun zooming up the jumps and flying through mid air.soon I will be joining a bmx club and every Wednesday I will do bmxing. Most weekends I go bmxing and that is what I love to do.

This is a piece of art about music. It is a dubstep machine with a surround sound system and a mixer with some turn tables.Me Manasseh and Connor came up with this idea because we all love dubstep and music.

Holiday highlights

In the holidays I went to the YMCA and we all went to my old home in waipawa and saw the museum.In the museum there was lots of old stuff such as type writing machines,old gas tanks,old bank tills,old sewing machines and an old train cart that you could push a handle from side to side and make the wheels turn round.

I also went to my friend Connor's birthday and we did a lot of challenges and games. After that we played Minecraft and watched a movie then the pizza came. So we all rushed up to grab some.then I sat down and watched the end of the movie.Then after the movie my dad picked me up.And that is what I did I the holidays.

Passage Picker

I am blogging this because I thought it was a really good task to share and it was really fun. In this task we were learning to find passages in a book called the Silver Sword here are some of them.
The Silver sword so far is a book about the world war 2 .A man named Joseph is wanted by the Nazis and is hiding. But when he comes back to is home town It is all blown up but then he finds a tiny silver sword and a boy named Jane. And that is what has happened so far.
